David and Gary are retired professional law enforcement officers with over 70 years of experience. Although they no longer work behind the badge they still consider themselves public servants and welcome opportunities to serve the public in order to promote awareness and safety. Combining their expertise at BlueLine Advantage enables them to remain active in the investigative field and to assist those in need.
W. David Munday
David is a law enforcement consultant and professional Private Investigator with over 34 years of experience. He retired from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in 2007 at the rank of Major. He has served as the Director of Field Operations, Special Operations, Communication and Logistics and Director of Professional Standards. He is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College and the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville. He was appointed to the Legislative Study Committee on Autism Spectrum Disorder and Public Safety.
Gary Lafone
Gary has served for more than 38 years as a law enforcemnt consultant and public servant and is a professional Private Investigator. He retired as Chief of Police from the Conover Police Deparment in 2009. He is a former Lieutenant of Detectives for the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department and served as a patrol officer and investigator with the Hickory Police Department. He is a graduate of Western Piedmont Community College, Gardner-Webb University and the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville.
